been out walking

Hey there. It seems Fall is coming to its soft lonely end 'round these parts, especially since Big Ol' Sandy came and knocked all the pretty red leaves down. My Vermont Life existence is likewise in its twilight hour, as I prepare for some adventures in new lands this winter. I'm certainly excited to move on with life, indeed to begin it, but I'm pretty hopelessly in love with the hills of home. Even this rather stark time of year holds many joys and beautiful sights if you look at it the right way.

Rare glimpse of me in my specs!!! (I may have run out of contacts...)

Hope you're having a dandy autumn and I will talk to you soon!!! ♥♥♥

  9. I have always been enamored with the soulful, sometimes hidden, occasionally melancholy, always gripping beauty that comes with the later days of autumn well into winter, the spirit of which these beautiful images capture so well.

Wishing you joy and fulfillment in whatever life has in store for you next, dear gal.

  16. Oh how I love New England Autumn skies- so dramatic. I'm also pretty fond of cemeteries, plaid, and glasses, so needless to say I love this post. Is your jacket a Pendleton? Love the colors.
Trust me, the hills of home will always hold some attraction, some lingering magic of childhood. Go explore the world, your hills will always be there waiting for you if you chose to return!
