ReplyDeleteThese are such beautiful images, I love the girls with umbrellas, they look like they're floating in the clouds. I grew up in a dilapidated seaside town in England so seaside towns are my favourite places. I've always wanted to see Coney Island because I hear it has a lot in common with the town where I grew up. xx
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I live an hour and a half from Atlantic City and have been there, but it is nothing like how it once was. Now it is just empty and destroyed from Hurricane Sandy, but even before that there was pretty much nothing around but loads of casinos. Pretty messed up place. I avoid going there these days. :(

DeleteMarvelous images - the one of the two ladies in their ankle grazing frocks evokes thoughts of what the grand, dazzling Boardwalk must have been like in its earlier heyday.

This is an amazing photoshoot! I love the first and second images especially. Ahhh, for the days when "every lady bore a parasol"... If nothing else, it would save me from getting the funny looks I get when I walk around with one!

I LOOOOOVE the late sixties'-does-Edwardian of some of these. They're all so cute! The third one down is a look I want to replicate with different hair...the makeup and dress are GREAT. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
