Gorgeous, atmospheric photos, as usual! You always manage to make your neck of the woods look so dreamy. I adore the photo of you in the white dress with the hat--you look like a girl straight out of eras past!
Oh, I wish you could stay until Fall too, because the foliage truly gets glorious!! Just pop 'round here again later on in the season, though, as I'll probably be snappin' away at the spectacle ;)
Such beautiful photos. I'd love to move to the US, but think I'd be torn between country life and city life... and for the sake of jobs (and I don't drive) the city would probably win :-( That said, I doubt I'm going to move their anyway.

ps. i take it these are digital photos? you should get out with the Argus more, although I'm not one to talk as I've had one for about a year and a half and still not used it :-S
Thanks!! And yes, these are digital... believe me, I'd use my Argus so much more, if only film and developing weren't getting so costly :( I honestly ought to build a darkroom in my basement or something. Oh, and I feel torn between city and country too... something tells me the city is going to win soon.
Oh how I adore the rich, buttery smooth, sublime light of late summer, and rarely has it been presented with such much style and beauty as in these wonderful photos.
Eee Dakota, thank you so so much for following my blog recently! Your own has been a constant inspiration to me, and I squeed a bit when I got the notification! <33
Oh Dakota! You look so pretty! Such a pretty face and beautiful hair! I hope the end of summer treats you well! We just have rain and coldness in Scotland! :( brrr! All the best! Zoë x
Your blog is so very emotive and I must say this post was particularly beautiful. It managed to evoke nostalgia although I have never visited your part of the world and the environment looks so very different to mine (I live in London.) Thanks for sharing!
Would you believe it's not a dress, but a 1930s dressing gown?? It's so gorgeous, and I found it at the thrift store for six dollars. Deserves a whole post of its own someday!!
gorgeous! You are a vision in white!
