I love this charming cemetery I discovered by my school.
It's the final resting place for some very well-off Vermonters of yore, just full of grand old monuments.
Wow! i love old buildings and cemiteries and your yellow sweater! you are lucky that you still have cool weather. here in Kansas it is 93 degrees and 92 tomorrow!
You make vermont seem like perfection! i wish i could just stumble upon such a beautiful old cemetery by my school. And its smoldering out here in cali desert, and your beautiful vintage coat is making me miss mine :( . Haha, well enough whining on my part you look cute as a button as usual and you are such a fashion inspiration to me and to many others im sure!
Oh you are looking super delectable Miss D, I absolutely adore the two-tone skirt and sweater with the belt:))). I do so love a fur collar on a coat, just brushing your chin against it makes you feel toasty doesn't it? What a beautiful cemetery, I love your cemetery pics!! xoxo
Such a perfect ensemble, you put things together that I wouldn't think of, so adorable! And what a beautiful cemetery, graves these days are so sterile xxx
There is a definite elegance to these graveyard shots that makes the location anything but eerie, more a spot (as it rightfully is) of hallowed, somber beauty and importance.
What a great old cemetary!!! I love old cemeteries, my husband just told me tonight to skimp on the coffin and splurge on the headstone if he ever is in need he wants some that at least stand up. Morbid but I can respect it.
Sounds like a good plan! ;) It makes me sad to see how many tombstones are all crumbling and the text almost worn off... I want something with some heft that'll stick around for a while!
Thanks all! The boots are Dr. Martens, from their high-heeled range (the 'Darcie', I think, and they're covered in lace <3 ).... seriously the most comfortable shoes I own, flats included!
I know I'm late commenting, but just wanted to pop by and say hello and that I love your outfit! :) So pretty (I need to remember to wear my jumper style sweaters over my dresses more often... ;)!!!
You look AMAZING!

ReplyDeleteGuess the grass is always greener, 'cause I'd kill for 90 degree temps... all the wind & cold isn't too fun :(
DeleteLOVE the sweater & dress combo! And I love going through old cemeteries! So much 'scope for the imagination' in them. XP
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful memorials - I only hope I get one as grand.
ReplyDeleteOn a less morbid note, your hair looks so cute on these. Lovely outfit too!
Haha, I was thinking the same thing... wouldn't mind something like Mr. Rathbun's when my time's up!! ;)
DeleteLovely pictures, those boots are fab.

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit. The sweater over the dress is especially darling, I'll have to remember that for when it's chilly here again.
