Bienvenidos!

Hi there!
1950s day dress: antique store
Wingtip flats: forever 21

Welcome to the lookbook for my etsy store (sweetheartoftherodeo.etsy.com, mais oui!).

I'm going to use this space to showcase all the lovely pieces I'm selling, plus I might add some personal outfits and inspiration as well! Right now we've got a posie of darling 60s mod frocks, a couple of dreamy 50s dresses, and a lot of adorable 70s and 80s seperates that are just perfect for summer. I do hope you'll swing by and check them out.

My blog and store are named after a 1969 Byrds album that I adore; there’s a beautiful Emmylou Harris song by the same name, too! I love traditional and alt country music—Loretta Lynn and Gram Parsons are definitely the closest things to style icons I have.

I am fortunate enough to live in a town of 700 people in the rugged rural mountains of Vermont, where it seems like there's a heavenly meadow or abandoned farmhouse down every dusty road. I can't wait to capture my beautiful world on film and share it with the world!

I've been collecting vintage since I was 14 (I'm 17 now); I guess you could say I'm an "old soul", because while most girls my age flock to Urban Outfitters and the mall for their duds, most of my garments were thrifted or bought at antique stores and auctions. Ah well, it takes all sorts! I'm not so vapid that my world is made of clothes, though: I read a lot, I like to hike, and I have a horse named Chinook who I ride all over the place.

Bye for now!
