  1. Your dress is too cute! Is it a recent find? I love that you added the bow tie to your ensemble.

  10. That is a terrifically lovely dress! Chalk it up, in no small part, I'm sure, to my 1980s childhood, but I have always been smitten with the pairing of feminine pink and crisp, midnight black (and just love that one can find many a vintage garment in this captivating colour combo).

    1. I love pink and black too, but I chalk it up to my love of licorice allsorts ;)

  11. Thank you all for the kind words!! This dress is such a mess... coffee stains, the pink bled onto the eyelet a bit (hence the string tie to cover it up ;), sloppily mended tear in the arm, etc., but it's one of my absolute favorite frocks.

  13. Haha, that's really funny you pointed out the flaws in the dress. I do that all the time. Someone wil give me a compliment and all I can think is... you have no idea how effed up this dress really is.... But you know what? Those are the best dresses. They are lived in & loved.

Looking extra fabulous lady, such a sucker for black & pastel hues. Swoon.

    1. You know, I'm just now realizing how much I do that! "Oh, this? Yeahhh, it has these weird blood stains on the arm, and I totally need to restitch the hem..." But they are character marks, not flaws :)
